Experience

I have a background and education in office administration, a parts service desk background, and an extensive history in customer service positions

One of my first jobs at the age of 16 was at a McDonald’s restaurant in Regina, Sk. With a high regard for customer service skills, and an intensely fast-paced work environment, McDonald’s is what created a part of who I am today, someone who thrives in busy and engaging work environments.

For the last 10 plus years I have been a stay at home mom raising 3 kids while also playing a role in my husband’s Agronomy business by helping with business finances and management decisions.

I am highly driven by my creativity, and knew it would be a part of the driving force in my career journey. Two years ago I decided it was time for the change of my life and enrolled into the Interactive Design and Technology Diploma program. It did change my life in so many amazing ways.

In my newest adventure I have become a part of the Encompass Online Marketing team. I am extremely delighted to have become a part of a team of individuals that highlights the importance of value, encouragement, opportunity, growth and support.

Favourite Encompass Project

To date, my favourite Encompass project has been the Birdie Bay Golf website. This project provided a sense of calm in knowing my clients were easy going golf supply professionals. This website project offered the opportunity for creative freedom, which made it super fun to work on and added to its success. I have gained golf supply equipment knowledge (still working on my swing), experience in e-commerce site design, and I am looking forward to my next exciting web design project.
